try this one day- look down from the upper level in a shopping centre, and watch how people walk pass each other. no one can control who is going to walk pass you, let alone bumping into you and cross your path in life. from there, you can realise how precious are the people around you, and how much you should treasure those who choose to stay in your life. make them stay in your life and walk the path down with you. if they choose not to, that's fate, too.

take a step back n observe from afar
you'll realize that many things are out of your control
people that are fated will cross paths and may grow old together
ans people that aren't fated will just pass by each other
from there, it goes to show juz how precious certain things are in life
therefore, as long as you have done ur best, given a shot, the outcome isn't the most important thing.

there was this guy that realized that the girl of his life was still infatuated with her previous love. he put in so much to make it work between the both of them, and ultimately realized that no matter how much he had done to sustain their relationship, there was still a third party. it was hard at first, but as he thought n pondered about it, he began to see things more clearly.

one day, he asked the girl to meet him at the beach. the first thing he asked was "have u ever tried holding water with ur hand?"

"no matter how u try to hold and retain it, it will slip away from ur grasp."

many things are just out of your control. so as long as u have tried, you have done ur best.
despite any outcome, u have to face it. "i know when its the time to let go."

sometimes love is just like holding water in your hand. if it doesn't belong to you, letting it go might be a better choice.

but do you know, despite the fact that wanting you by my side is just the same as holding water with my hand, i still want to keep you there till the last moment until you decided to slip and join the sea.
